I just now have been able to speak on this. I stood in line with my boys in the rain for 3 hours just to pay my respects. Mrs. King did so much around the Atlanta area that she didn't even allow her name to be published but she helped everyone seems like. I realize my generation is going to hell in a handbasket because we don't know what struggling is. Mrs. King and the wives of the civil rights era crew did more behind the scenes than we will ever know from hiding people in their basements, dealing with harassment to dealing with the death of friends and their husbands. She was truly the Lotus that I am trying to become.
NEVER EVER make someone or anything a priority when you are only an option.
Life will only be what you make it. Make it hard you get hard. Make it soft and you gets nowhere.

I really wish I could have been there.
and more important she represents grace and how you ain't gotta go all out stupid to get even or correct a situation. she died w/respect while those who disrepected her husband died as dirty thugs whose name you don't even care about. I still say more than one person was involved in King's death. James Earl Ray wasn't that bright. he could have been lying about being innocent for the attention, but too much other info supports a planned group assassination
