tamra, one thing I will say about us discussing this is that it has been calm and decent throughout. But I simply cannot believe that you believe what you are trying to make yourself, AND OTHERS believe. NOPE !! ain't cuttin it gf !!

so I should have sympathy for a pedophile and murderer? and then hope to god the courts and guards treat him with respect at all times?

well, if so, I'm definitely not God or that christian-like, and better be lucky I'm not God. I'd wipe this planet out now and start over. because clearly animals now have more sense than humans these days. there is no hope, things are not going to get better, people are instead becoming living degenerates. and Duncan is LIVING and BREATHING proof.

Sweetie it just goes back to my original statement. One individual makes his choices. The law collectively cannot behave and shall not behave and hopefully will not behave in such a manner. Do you not realize that with your thoughts you are behaving as the criminal behaves ?

no I don't see it that way. not at all.

an eye for an eye is my philosophy. and I guess that would make God barbaric too because it's IN THE ORIGINAL SCRIPTURES. and ironically if you have some time read the book of Leviticus which is where the same laws we live by today were formed. and try and discover the origin of the Levites who were to maintain God's laws.

I don't believe in putting violent criminals on a pedestal after they've left a trail of destruction and destroyed families behind. or saying "ok, well, we're going to treat you fairly because we're gonna show you, the violent asshole, how to be a better person because we're going to let you out one day and hopefully you'll learn from our actions."

yeah right!

sell that crap to the Groene's, the Lunsford's and any other parent or family member harmed by a repeat offender who played the system by playing that "I have rights" and "you need to uphold laws while I'm here" shit!

better them than me, because let someone like Duncan complain to me as a guard while I'm on my job which didn't involve killing someone. first I'd give him this look

If YOU knew ANYTHING about the Bible you would know that "an eye for an eye" went out when Jesus died on the Cross. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd God says OBEY the laws of the land. Nooooooooooooooow those laws that we must live amongst here on earth are most difficult to deal with at times. BUT YOUR POINT OF VIEW, I MOST ASSUREDLY FEEL IS NOT WHAT GOD WANTS.

well gee I wonder how many "don't want to get involved" types saw him lurking around the neighborhood waiting to pick up a kid.

and I guess having an alert about his disappearance wouldn't have mattered because "people don't want to get involved"

but when he's caught red handed, he's supposed to be treated with respect and dignity, as in be the better person for a twisted fuq's benefit. LAWD HAMMERCY!!!
