umm is this even possible? isn't wireless JUST THAT: wireless? and what about someone who sits near a starbucks?

Truth is, people do this all the time...they mooch off other's wireless internet connections...which is why I'm glad I DON'T use wireless

Only a matter of time before more cases like this pop up...

the thing is how would the guy being mooched off even have known if the other guy hadn't said anything?

I can see this being thrown out! there are NO regulations regarding wireless and who can and can't pick up an wireless "airwave". if they wanna take this more seriously stop the wireless hackers who INTERCEPT data openly but no one's prosecuting or preventing this.
