We unseated Detroit ? :redface: That is baaaaaaaaaaad lol. Houses are cheap coz it's a bad place to live. Some developer has gone and put up some condo thingies that are selling for 85k and 90k. Yeah ok and right around the corner is all the blood guts and crack you can stand. 3 of the last 5 mayors have gone to jail for corruption. The cops are on the take too I believe otherwise it could not be this bad.

85K-90K? yeah he'll get that over his dead body, literally. but on realtor.com and other similar sites home are listed for waaaay less because of the crime, then once people realize the close proximity to philly, atlantic city, dc and nyc it'll suddenly become a commuter haven

You know tamra I've always said drop a bomb on their asses and start fresh from scratch. Raise the taxes raise the price of a house and make the scum work for a living or go without. When I say work, I don't mean selling drugs and women.

i just don't understand when being a kid became soooo complicated. they have to have guns now, instead of self-respect. it can't be that the mother works and isn't there. because how many of us were latch key kids from the 70's. other neighbors looked out as well. so it means they just don't care and look up to criminals as role models.

Yep I was one of those latch key kids and it's so true.... the neighbors would chek up on me as soon as they see my folks are a little late and even bring me a plate of hot food.And yes I also agree with the majority:Nigglets gots to go!!!!!

Our parents cared about us though and most of us had two parents not one mama screwing a hundred different men and having kids by them. Those dads took no responsibities for their offspring so we pay for it. Then you gotta include the drugs. AIDS is the number one killer of black women between 25 and 40 I think the ages are. The reason for this goes hand in hand with the drugs and being wreckless.

yeah it's like when did self-respect become a thing of the past. some women frown upon using protection because they think they're just with the one guy, however that one guy is pimping his way through her friends and family for all she knows.

but today's role models are Jay-Z (however, he's strictly business and we've yet to hear about any multiple babies popping up out of closet, so not sure if he should be in this category, yet), Puffy/P-Diddy/Piddy (or whatever it is today), Eminem, and Fiddy. but these same "role models" aren't parting any knowledge on how to respect YOURSELF, because they're not when they've got multiple hoochies on the arm, different kids by different women, or no positive relationship with baby's mother.

and some of the role models of the past, lawd, even they have kids from extramarital affairs (Jesse Jackson). we need more colin powell's, more barack's, more oprah's. you don't see Oprah out there running around half naked even with her great body now. she respects herself and passes that self respect and knowledge on to others. what could someone like J-Lo tell me? pluh-eaze
