First Impressions?

Alrighty, another question...what is the best way for a guy, (Such as myself) to approach a woman who he thinks is cute and might be interested in getting to know? (And yes, I know pick-up lines do NOT work 99% of the time) I know this may seem like a dumb question...but just answer it darnit! I just have such a ard time approaching ya'll sometimes...dunno why, but I do. (Waits months knowing that the board has been pretty quiet for quite some time...)

i know our lives are just taking many twists and turns. sad when even the board owner isn't around much

well, if I win the lottery or find a bag full of millions, I'll hire some folks to wreak havoc

but to answer you question: just tell her what you asked as in:

thinks is cute and *would* be interested in getting to know?

too much of an effort implies "game". directness and honesty will shock and impress her as that's a rarity these days.

if that doesn't always work, flash loads of cash!!!

Yup be yourself & direct always works. That way you know where you stand right away. If she likes an image or fascade, u'll always have to be that image for her.

But women are crazy. You sure you want to approach one of those crazy things?

I think making some small talk about something happening around you and the person you want to approach is a good start.

I.E. - if you're in bar, you could talk about whatever sport is on the screen if the person is watching it, example "So, you a big cubs fan?" etc.

Or is there is someone drunk and making an ass of him/herself, you could make a casual joke about it.

Those to methods won't make you come across as too pushy or too forward.

First, test the waters......meaning, MAKE EYE CONTACT. If you hold her eye contact for more than a couple of seconds, that means she's approachable.

Second, don't approach her while she's with a large group of friends. Every single one of them will be giving you the stink eye or studying your every move. No one needs or wants that kind of pressure.

Third, keep it casual....."What are you studying?", "What do you think of this place?", "Hi, my name is ...."

Don't act nervous, be very aloof, and most importantly.....BE YOURSELF! A woman that's worth your time will not care about how hard you're trying to impress them.

Don't act TOO interested or TOO eager, that's always a turn off.....just be casual.
