A difficult decision

Post by Hmph »

it's difficult because I don't have the time for it and it's trivial (well to me... nigglet drama)

well, what do yall think?

the crazy, as in literally crazy, lady who had a starting 45 page site and called me daily, and several times a day for 9 months has been out for vengeance in every form, shape and way possible.

I've been trying to just ignore her and hoping she gets a clue, but I now know from experience, these are not humans I'm dealing with.

the sad part is she has developmentally disabled kids that she should be focusing on, but instead spends her day trying to harm me through others. I've been asked if I've wanted to proceed against her as she's left a trail of electronic, telephone and other evidence to mount against her. but like I said I feel sorry for people like that and it would be like taking candy from a baby.

what do yall think I should do since she won't get a clue? I can no longer assume humans will behave like humans. and now there's no telling what her twisted mind will do since she feels scorned (at my expense and time of course).

the thing that hurts the most is she got a MAJOR discount. and what I didn't get I had to pay for. only reason why I agreed to help her was because of someone who referred her to me, that I'm no longer speaking to because of her. for a starting 45 page website with an online store that she continually made changes to daily should have been 3000.00 min to start. the site grew to 65++ pages with nonstop calls. she even turned an e-newsletter into an out of control 4 page offline newspaper that no one hardly read or didn't draw attention to website. it became a nightmare for me as it wasn't part of agreement. she friggin sent me 9 articles all 3-5 pages long for it and was shocked it wouldn't fit on one page. can people be that clueless? but she does have retarded kids.

and she couldn't even take advantage of someone working for her, which most would count as a blessing and focus on their business, instead she wanted me and others to teach her HTML and everything else. the final sickness was hacking up her online store with little or no real knowledge of HTML, interrupting me, and then calling cussing and screaming over her mistake, and then calling me stupid for stopping what I was doing to fix her store. turns out this is business as usual for her. same thing done to someone who ran screaming crying from her.

then as soon as the newpaper was done, she was like "let's have a meeting to go over next one". :o I explained again, e-news vs. newspaper, as in not something I could do. she couldn't even figure out how to open the file given to her to move on.

and she called cluelessly several times a day and then tried to develop an overly personal relationship at my expense and time, and given I'd just been conned by someone I wasn't then or now "looking for a new friend to take a chance on" she was a lonely bored housewife, with no adult friends or outlet. she just clung to me like I was her saving grace and here I was hanging by a thread trying to make it through each day (my priority). the moment she called me cussing and screaming over a mistake she made, it was time to cut that clingy string. I have my own life to deal with, couldn't take on her emotional dramas which were daily.

and she calls herself a humble servant of god including while cussing and screaming, another sign she's mentally ill.

think she'll go away, or think she's just warming up and won't stop until she's satisfied? this is another part of her problem -- her husband can't satisfy her so she's looking for some other form of satisfaction -- the misery loves company factor. I actually had to hear about her bedroom dramas while I was like :wait:  and staring at an empty refrig and trying to figure out the following day too.

yeah it's time for me to stop feeling sorry for her because she's mentally ill. hell everyone's mentally ill. but she can get help and needs to know she's harming others. she's scary because most psychopaths don't think there's anything wrong with them.

You need to sue & prosecute that scared to sell her songs heffa. She is str8 up crazy. Most people would feel blessed to be able to call someone at a low or no price & say "do this for me", especially a "humble servant of God". But I know from what I saw, she couldn't even do that. She abused your time & money. She wanted u to b all 4 her personal dramas. & teach her HTML & all about microsoft? Is she crazy? Microsoft won't even take time to teach you about Microsoft.

Byatch try a school, library or book. U ain't no university. You spent years studying, but she wanted u to handhold her thru it all & get pissed when u don't have time 4 her petty childish dramas that were costing u. She's lucky it was u. U are too nice. She owes u at least $5,000.00 alone.

I agree...you should definately take up legal action, the lady has caused you too much of your time. Take it from a nice guy like me, there comes a point when you have to stop being so nice and feeling sorry for someone because you know what, everone is responsible for their own actions. Its not like shes mentally challenged herself...now she might be crazy, but if she doesn't have anything physically wrong with her brain, then she knows what shes doing. With that being said, sue her, then forget about her. That drama is just added stress..and no one needs that.

she is developmentally disabled. she has 2 retarded kids and her husband's a co-dependent. so really suing her would be like taking candy from a baby. but at same time she needs to know you can't go around mistreating people because of her failure to understand and comprehend.

so with that suing and sending all related info as requested to local prosecutor. she certainly provided enough evidence and witnesses.

What's going on with this now? Are you still having to deal with this woman?

My :twocents: ? Tell her in simple language, that you are too busy to help her anymore. Tell her to please stop calling you, that you would rather not associate with someone that feels so free to share their bedroom dramas to random people. If that doesn't help, pick up the phone when she calls.....tell her you're too busy and hang up immediately. Tell her to find someone else to help her, etc. She WILL get the hint. Don't allow yourself to be a punching bag. Most people are victims of people like this because they allow themselves to be. Honestly, don't worry about hurting her feelings.....she'll probably find someone else to latch onto and you'll no longer have a problem.

that works with normal people mom-me. this person isn't normal. hint-hint, she has 2 retarded children, which implies genetics. she doesn't listen, and not by choice because she can't. she takes in something or makes something out of nothing into something and obsesses over it.

yup still dealing with her, but only passed it on to law enforcement with a decision to be made by me. I have some time. things have been quiet on her end, but next thing that's done, it's just 1 phone call "go ahead".

I have this rule now: if it takes away from daily eating, which wasn't a luxury recently, it's not important.

if the person's persistent to become a priority in my life, hmmm... maybe this is better for someone more qualified to handle, instead of me. she's got 4 kids and I'd hate for them to see their angry mother locked up, but perhaps they need to learn that what their mother is doing to not only me, but others isn't normal.

Sometimes as I am getting to know someone, I realize they're going to be trouble. It isn't always analytical, sometimes you just know. I've ignored it and I've regretted it. I hope you can make this situation fade away and keep people out of your life in the future that are going to cause you grief.

i initially ignored her but it escalated to an obsession once she realized she was being ignored.

priority hasn't been dealing with her, but she's added herself to the list of things to take care of eventually. funny, I wrote this to vent. my new thing now, write it down and never have to deal with it again internally, move on, and let the reality of the situation take its course :D
