I have been reading up on this case and it seems like the only thing getting out is stuff to hurt the victims rep. Maybe the DA was a little hasty in charging the players cause I have never heard of a frat party with just the people in the frat being the only ones there. It might not have been someone on the team but a friend. Its shocking that the results of this woman's rape kit and other things that should be closely guarded has leaked out the way they have. Seems funny to me. But really how can you say nothing happened when they made jokes via email like they did. And the point that her story changed more than once is justifiable. She might have been in shock and blocked stuff till it was more manageable for herself(self mental preservation) and I really think the girl she was with has been paid off already for her to say the things she did. As far as the investigation it does seem a little fishy. Photo lineup with only team members in it is a little off base. And for them not to follow up on her saying that this could be him if he had a beard she probably thought the guy shaved it off before that picture was taken. I think a rape happened but they might have the wrong guys.

see that's what I am thinking because of the DNA issue. my first guess was the coach. I would not be shocked to find out the coach's DNA matched.

either way I truly believe the piss ants are covering for someone.

once the trial hits home and the brat Colin Finnerty realizes he could be raped in prison by a bunch of black men since he's now a convict from another assault, he'll start singing like a bird

either way I have no sympathy for the wrong guys being prosecuted because they have no sympathy for a black woman or the fact that a rape occurred in their house and presence. real, respectful men wouldn't behave such a way.

now put their mother or sister in that same situation, those little piss ants would be knocking down doors for justice.

That reminds me of the black student that didn't care if they were guilty or not, he thought they should go to prison for crimes that whites had gotten away with in the past. I can imagine what you would think if a black man was on his way to prison for traffic violations and some white had no sympathy because...

You might be right, your post makes sense.

However, I think that the young lady was faced with being sent to mental institution for evaluation. She had just had a confrontation with the lacrosse players and would likely and understandably despise them. So, she used the rape allegation as an escape. Once the ball got rolling there was no turning back.

The truth is, I have much more empathy for her situation than I do for the DA's. She was fighting for survival while he was willing to destroy three lives to gain re-election.

yeah silly her for trying to ruin someone's life after being raped.

and honorable of them to not disclose publicly what happened in that house. you know why they can't disclose anything, because it would implicate a houseguest at the party

hey you know what I realized. all the stories the public is reading about the victim is primarily from the piss ants.

we haven't heard from the victim, saw her or or don't know anything about her except what's written. yet opinions of her are already made.

now, the piss ants want to try this case in the predominate white media. but the blacks which will make up their jury are not mainstream media's target. if so, news would be different in general.

all's I know is she couldn't fake a rape exam. and a black woman accusing a white male(s) of rape AND being supported is unheard of on a word alone. STRONG evidence would have to be required. I live in America. blacks still have less or no value than whites in situations like this, ESPECIALLY down south.

Fortunately, she couldn't fake the rape exam. They found DNA from three people, none of whom were Duke lacrosse players. They, also, didn't find any injuries consistent with being beaten for a half an hour by between three to twenty of the players, depending on which of her stories that you believe.

It's odd that there is no interest in getting justice for her regarding the three men that she accused of raping her in the past. Of course, they most likely weren't rich white college student, so it would be possible for her to lie about them in the south.

All the DNA not being from lacrosse players could mean that other people were there. I mean I went to plenty of "exclusive" frat parties when I was at school. Frankly I have read all that has been posted and it seems to me that this has had a spin in the favor of everyone but the victim. There should have been a gag order a looong time ago on all this being leaked out. The DA decided to run with this case and put it out in the public for his own reasons. And unfortunately in this country there is a time limit on the prosocution of rape so any JUSTICE that could have been has expired by now. But tell me why does her past have anything to do with this case. Strippers in this country are demonized and for doing a job. A sense of she isn't worth it just because she is a stripper is coming through strong and clear in all reports. She can't be telling the truth look what she does for a living. Would you look so closely at her past if she was say a hotel clerk while going to school?

You're right, her past and profession have little to do with this case. The idea that her job makes her less deserving of fairness and justice than anyone else is wrong.

However, if she did accuse three other men of raping her in past, it does seem very similar to this case, and makes me wonder if she is prone to making false accusations. One of the men denies it and she didn't follow through with pressing charges. It might be coincidence, but should at least be considered.

Also, her activities earlier in the day may have caused the minor injuries that showed up in the rape exam. These, too, should be taken into account.

I am not trying to promote the idea that she is necessarily a bad person. I do believe, however, that no rape occurred. She would probably not continue with this, just as she did not in the past, but it has gotten beyond her control.

the only question I have is, is your info coming from defendants or D.A.? because if it's from the defendants side, it's about as credible as the people who claim they're fine upstanding boys and one now has an assault conviction for gay bashing.
