He kinda flaky got in telling rednecks( I mean true kill a black or mexican as soon as they look at one) that they could have the confederate flag back then put it to a vote(lol smart man) and said I tried.

I didn't understand this? He offered the confederate flag in exchange for the immigration bill? Becuz the confederate flag is part of Georgia's state flag.

When he first ran for office alot of rednecks where complaining cause the last governor(who he ran against) changed the flag and removed the confederate flag stuff. He was all over the state saying it should have been put to a vote and he will do "all" he could to get it back. I was just saying he was flaky cause he put it to a vote and he knew that most people liked the newer flag. I really was shocked that he signed the bill after all of that. To me he seems like a talk the big game then when it doesn't work he says at least I tried.

but these are the only things that comes to mind when I see a confederate flag, even when they say it's heritage, is this heritage of hate, stupidity and slave rapists/torturers/kidnappers/terrorists. and it's a constant reminder that the south/Congress has YET to amend its wrongs

Mom & Pop stores have already been doomed for awhile now with the rise of Walmart. You don't so much notice it in larger communities with 30,000 + people, but go to the smaller farm communities with the tiny little downtown and you'll notice that the once thriving Main Street is now largely a ghost town.

Of course, Walmart is one of the big culprits of hiring illegal immigrants PLUS they have shitty wages for their legal employees on top of that. And they treat their employees like crapadoodledoo too.

Additionally, I was watching The Situation last night with Tucker (who I think is a dorky schmuck by the way) but he had an interesting topic: Some Mexican composer has written a Spanish Version of our National Anthem for Spanish Speaking Persons in America to sing!!!

There are two sides to this....1) These damn foreigners want SOOOO Badly to be Americans, but they won't adapt to our culture and we have to bend over backwards to spell Captain Crunch in Espanol underneath the English Title on the cereal box.

2) On the other hand, do we give them the benefit of the doubt for attempting to be patriotic, even if it is not in our Native tongue??

I believe that Language bonds the people of a country. You have a country divided when you have a country of too many languages.

I think it should be a law to remove ALL the press 2 or 1 for spanish option when you call ANYPLACE in the United States. that encourages the belief that we don't matter.

would you hear press 1 for English in other non-English speaking countries?

and I hate WalMart. their managers are red necks, similar to plantation overseers! why would I pay to support something like that.

Here's a burning question I have:

Let's say they go ahead and make these 11+ Million illegal immigrants citizens.... Does that mean they will be assigned a Social Security #? Will that mean they will be able to tap into our already dwindling SS Reserves? (As In Miltie, who has been contributing to Social Security since she was 15 will get EVEN LESS Social Security when she is old and crusty because 11 million more people will be sharing it with her??). Also, will all these people be dipping into Medicaid and Free Health benefits, WIC, and Food Stamps, and Section 8 housing??? Things our tax dollars already go to? Will our taxes go up?

don't even get me started on thinking about that nightmare. you're preaching to the choir.

because you're right, for years many haven't been paying all the taxes we have since childhood jobs here. many illegals are paid cash "under the table". but the response is "we pay sales tax".

HOWEVER....say someone only buys food. in many states there's NO tax on food.

what about extra state services required because of problems created (crime, housing, welfare, education)? what about not knowing who's a child predator or not?

that request from the Italian government doesn't seem so bad afterall.

I say illegal immigrants start by paying New Jersey back the $200 million it spends yearly on illegal immigrants w/out insurance and let's go from there.
