new type of theft on the rise

it used to be the old change the sticker and buy it cheaper before things became electronically priced.

now mofos are TAKING the products out of its container/box and leaving the box on the shelf.

went to get aspirin. picked up the box and noticed it was rather light. instead of opening it, I just assumed new lightweight packaging. but something said pick up the one behind it. it wasn't no "new packaging". the one I picked up first was empty as the 2nd one obviously had a bottle in it.

when I gave it to the store manager, she goes "another one...". so I guess they're used to seeing this.

I've now seen this a few times at various stores. for feminine products especially. not sure if it's men ashamed of buying or women ashamed of buying or just some cheap, thieving mofos. but they're taking the time to remove the products of out boxes and return the empty box back to shelf so the security is bypassed.

Omg I thought it was just down here. If they are that smart why not get a serious job rather than do that.

OMG you mean it's where you are too? this obviously is serious, which means consumer costs will go up. I thought it was just an isolated incident, but to see it in 3 states including NY and NJ in a short amount of time is pretty bad. and now to hear it's happening where you are.

and when the boxes are on the shelf, the stores don't restock because it's assumed quantities are left, but it's empty boxes. and the product manufacturer is losing because orders aren't continually placed like they should and consumers can't get what they need, then come layoffs.

the Target in one area had to launch an investigation. it turns out that asians who HAVE/HAD money were stealing. maybe buying feminine products were shameful?? umm...what do they think they're there for?? after you get a certain age, the embarassment of buying tampons and pads should be long gone.

either way it's jacked up.

It was a Target here too. See it wasn't as minor as femine products, I was buying a portable cd player. Some one had enough time to take it out of the box but put all the wrappers and forms back in the box. They actually wanted to search me and I brought it to their attention. Glad I was with the youth pastor of my church or I would have told them where they could have stuck that box.

damn! I've only seen the problem w/aspirin, toothpaste, cosmetics and hair care stuff. I didn't think a mofo would be hard core enough to take electronics like that. I thought they were wrapped differently, esp. w/the styrofoam.

see I'm starting to think it's actually employees. w/all the security cameras, I can't see a customer having time to do that and not be notices. esp. electronics.

See that what was funny everything was still in the box just no cd player I was thinking the same thing cause there was stuff to fill it out to make it look like it was just light weight. I haven't been in my favorite store in like 2 weeks because of that and they had a great sale last week.
