Not to bring it up, but compare her case to the Mr. Peterson Case...

He sits on death row, convicted on circumstantial evidence...

She gets to go home after physical evidence, a confession, and a quadruple homocide.

Dang, maybe scooter should have taken the insanity plea!!!!! :yernuts:

with a husband who knowingly left his children in her crazy ass care. why didn't he just drop them off at the prison where Charles Manson is for their daily care w/out any concern for how they'd eat or make it back home safely? the outcome couldn't have been any different.

She this is really messed up. They just put this Black woman in jail here for her boyfriend killing her 4 year old son while she was at work. She didn't even know the man didn't have the sense to watch her baby. Andrea Yates husband and Mother should have been sitting in a cell with her cause she actually went to them for help and they pooh poohed it. But what woman would even want to lay down with an idiot like that. :wtf:
NEVER EVER make someone or anything a priority when you are only an option.

Life will only be what you make it. Make it hard you get hard. Make it soft and you gets nowhere.

:highfive: ooohkaaaay!!!

that's what I'm saying. every place else, every parent involved in prosecuted. there were a few cases of neglect and both were prosecuted, yet only 1 raised the child primarily.

what Russell Yates did was the equivalent of asking a serial killer to babysit his kids, w/his mother-in-law's approval.

and Russell Yates is planning on a new family. :o
:wtf: she needs better legal representation because someone should be asking why the husband and her mother are not on trial.

holy shit! Rusty Yates is remarrying this Saturday :o

now where are those crazy military funeral protestors when you need them. :wait: this guy should not only NOT be allowed to marry, but needs to be prosecuted right along w/his WIFE!!

what was he thinking leaving those kids alone w/an obviously insane woman: "they'll be ok" or "fugggg... I hope they'll be there when I get back"

someone needs to file a civil suit against his ass to bring the reality back to the situation.

Husband of woman who drowned children to remarry
Andrea Yates' attorney: 'People have to get on with their lives'

Tuesday, March 14, 2006; Posted: 9:00 p.m. EST (02:00 GMT)

HOUSTON, Texas (AP) -- Rusty Yates, whose former wife drowned their five children in a bathtub in 2001, said Tuesday that he is getting remarried.

Yates said his former wife, Andrea, is aware of the wedding, which is planned for Saturday -- two days before Andrea Yates' scheduled retrial on capital murder charges.

"Andrea has been aware of it for a couple of months, and she wishes me the best, just as I wish her the best," Rusty Yates told The Associated Press in an e-mail.

He identified his fiancee as Laura Arnold and said the two met at church.

Rusty and Andrea Yates, both 41, married in 1993 and divorced in March 2005.

Andrea Yates' attorney, George Parnham, said Tuesday that though the new marriage would be a moment of sadness to Andrea, "People have to get on with their lives."

Yates continues to stand by his ex-wife, who has pleaded innocent by reason of insanity. A jury rejected that defense in 2002, and Andrea Yates was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Her conviction was overturned because a forensic psychiatrist gave false testimony when he said an episode of television's "Law & Order" broadcast shortly before the slayings portrayed a woman with postpartum depression drowning her children; no such episode was ever shown.

An appeals court also is considering new arguments and could decide this week to delay the trial.
