Pretty much. And its such a small company, so there's no escape, either.

Thank goodness I got one of my good guy pals hired there... it helps offset the idiocracy. :whew:

yup that's the drawback of working for a small business. people are very close-knit and feel they can tell you anything. and if you don't tell them anything, god forbid because you're working, here comes the judgement against you.

whatever happened to working during work, having a little fun while you're working and saving the :o type comments for your family and friends only.

but at the same time, I've been in situation where we joke about other races, but never in harm. like someone will say "see how you white people are" and someone will reply with something like "here come the picket signs again" or "break out the 40s and let's get it on". those are from people who KNOW each other, not people who just shove pubes down your throat and you're like "I'm sorry, do I KNOW you?"

ok get that visual out of your head. :o sorry.

First of all, ewwwwwwwww....

I don't know about ya'll, but all we ever seem to talk about at work is how most of the other support groups sometimes astound us with how little they know about their job...(And during the last few days how ungodly busy its been)

As a matter of fact, today I got a call from a service tech asking me if I knew the number to another service group...do I LOOK like a phone book? Geez...get a clue.

Besides that, my workplace is very conservative, so we gotta be careful about what we say anyway...but we still manage to have a little fun now and then while working...

well consider yourself damn lucky King. because I've heard some wild unnecessary stuff on the job. I don't even want to repeat it as I can't believe I heard it the first time.

but back to :gives:

but :gives: about the Bush and spying issues. I mean come on, who is it REALLY going to affect? and if you're not up to no good, as in selling secrets you could only be privy to from direct access to top secret info, what do you need to be worried about.

besides between all the natural disasters and job outsourcing, who's left to spy on?

:werd: I hear that!!!!

Another thing, :gives: about Tom and Katie??? I mean, really?!?! I am tired of going thru the checkout and seeing their faces everywhere. And WHY do the reporters keep asking Chris Klein, her ex-fiancee, about how he feels about her having the baby, and his comments are printed? Obviously, there are some issues there, but when is enough enough? :wall:

Yanno, I got to thinking.....they could spy on big business and find out why my heating bill was over $300 this month! Just joking there....'cuz they already know the answer to that one! LOL

OMG....did you read that they went out and bought an ultrasound machine so they can watch the baby develop??? That, I think, falls into the "we have more money than we know what to do with!!!!" catagory!

it's like you get to the check out aisle and everybody's business is all over the place. but when you're focused on paying for your stuff, last thing you wanna buy is something about people much richer than you.

sometimes I'll flip through when line is long, but never read crap.

but I swear if I see one more Brad and Angelina cover :angry2:
