the bottom part is meant as coding to confuse email programs' spam filters as well as network spam filters.

some email readers are only set to view HTML which is dangerous these days. but for some that only use text, only the confusing story would have been displayed and if caught, for the spammer no crime the illegal site wasn't displayed.

it's all illegal services. because if it was legal, why go through such an effort to hide the from address, the URL and more.

I get spams like those Nigeria scams at least once every month. The way you handled it was CLASSIC! Absolutely brilliant!

Keep up the creative reporting of these assholes...lol. :lmfao:

:biglaff: Tea.

there are now so many groups out there taking on spammers and scammers. people are getting fed up w/it and there's only so much law enforcement can handle as the internet is now the haven for easy scams, most from people not using computer common sense.

that was pretty funny. hope the guys who sent the junk don't get into trouble.

but :lmfao: at the death threats w/all the misspellings.

the sad part is it won't stop frauds like this. they'll just keep going and going until they make enough to ironically move here. they could care less about getting caught. if they did, it wouldn't have been done in the first place.

That's what I was worried about. The computer salesman notified UPS' security department to let them know to collect cash -ONLY CASH for the $1300.00 in shipping costs because he'd recieved a couterfeited check from them.
They were careful to collect the cash and through out the week as UPS employees heard about the forum thread, they would log on and help educate the computer salesman in thwarting the crime and even went along with it admitting that it was pretty damn funny.

See, now I think this is just wrong - yet another example of the white man trying to keep the black man down. Here we have Cole - a simple black man who is obviously working hard for his Anus, only to be oppressed by WILSON TARBUCKLE, who refuses to send his Anus. No wonder so many WILSON TARBUCKLES are deaded every day by the govenor and the Clique. An important lesson is to be learned here - when a man really wants an Anus, give him an Anus!!! :lmfao:

(Quick techie question... if an Anus crashes or has some other sort of issue, can it be cured (or at least made more comfortable) by putting a Tucks Medicated Pad in the CD-ROM?).
