tamra tamra tamra this is so bad bad bad...the whole transcript of his confession is in cnn ....I was just stunned. He really waaaaas talking like he was giving a sermon to LE on serial killers. So matter of factly nonchalant..it was like ok everybody has been waiting to hear what I have to say so I'll tell them. When he described killing the Oteros I almost fell on the floor. They kept coming back to life after he thought they were dead !!! He had no idea how much pressure it was going to take to strangle them and they just kept coming back to life....uugghhh. And throughout his confession he would not use the word dead. He was saying putting them down or thought they were down or going down.
Wherever I go, I play the victim role well. Watch, but don't learn from me.
he was like a "business man" talking about how he met his goals.
oooooh there will be movies and all sorts of case studies on him. he's a one of kind, yet typical serial killer.
but at least he confessed. randy kraft, who's in same prison as scott peterson, has YET to confess, yet left scores of dead bodies up and down freeways across the country. he chopped up people in his own bathroom to dispose of bodies. he was known as "the nicest guy" you could ever know, and a model employee, always smiling and helpful. even killed while on biz trips. and was busted when pulled over by CHP on a routine stop with a dead body in passenger seat, but sitting right there with SP, talking about he's innocent appealing his ass off.
a book about Kraft by Dennis McDougal scared the living daylights out of me. even the crime scene photos in the book. http://www.twbookmark.com/books/73/0446363022/ the book had me looking at EVERYONE differently when I finished and instincts about some people like the Steeleye predator Channler Drawdy were on the $$. (too bad I didn't make a different turn before the instincts.)
and I can see Kraft's crazy ass bringing a chopped up body in a garbage bag to trunk of his car and waving to neighbors like
I'm betting the guy who killed Riley on this site http://kevinfoxisinnocent.com that miltie mentioned is someone everyone just loves and trusts COMPLETELY because of how easily they were able to get in and out of area w/out drawing suspicion.

so the devil made him do it huh?BTK Killer Blames 'Demon' for Murders
WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - Confessed BTK serial killer Dennis Rader made his first public apology for the murders that horrified a community for a quarter-century, blaming a "demon" that got inside him at a young age.
"I have a lot of remorse. I'm very sorry for them. It is something I wouldn't want to happen to my family," he told KAKE-TV. The interview was conducted Saturday; some of it was aired Wednesday night with additional portions to air Thursday.
Rader, who pleaded guilty last week to 10 first-degree murders in the Wichita area from 1974 to 1991, nicknamed himself BTK, for "Bind, Torture, Kill," as he taunted media and police with cryptic messages about the crimes. He faces sentencing Aug. 17.
"I just know it's a dark side of me. It kind of controls me. I personally think it's a - and I know it is not very Christian - but I actually think it's a demon that's within me. ... At some point and time it entered me when I was very young," said Rader, who was once president of his Lutheran church.
Rader, 60, said his problems began in grade school, with his sexual fantasies that were "just a little bit weirder" than other people's.
"Somewhere along the line, someone had to pick something up from me somewhere that there was a problem," he said. "They should have identified it."
Rader said he felt for Dale Fox when he saw him cry on television while talking about the 1977 strangulation of Fox's daughter Nancy - a crime Rader has admitted - and said his own relatives also suffer.
"I am going to pay for it with a life sentence. The final victims are my ... family," he said.
Rader told the court last week that sexual fantasies drove him to kill. He told KAKE he was "totally unprepared" for the court's request for details of the crimes.
"I just wanted to get the facts out as quick as I could, try to not get too emotionally involved," he said.

I haven't had time to follow this, but upon hearing bits and pieces of his killings, man oh man, this guy makes Dahmer and Gacy look like choir boys, in Charles Manson's choir of course. he actually had nerve to complain that one victim fought him back
http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/06/27/rader ... index.html
can we slap a hidden camera on him and allow him into the general prison population, oh please, pretty please!
this would be one good reality show! I give him a year in prison w/general population. to know him is to shank him!

It seriously makes you wonder what a guy like this thinks, how he was raised, what conditioning or experiences he had in his life where it left him feeling so unfulfilled...that he felt the need to do what he did.
Definately a sick puppy. Part of me wonders if him suddenly leaving hints and that disc police used to finally track him down...was just him getting sloppy in his old age, or intentionally wanting to get caught perhaps after admitting things to the priest at his church....or a final option, maybe he allowed himself to get caught just so he could say to the entire world "Look what I did! And nobody was able to catch me, until I allowed it to happen!".
Who knows. In prison society he will either end up somebodys bitch, or a hero for the sick f$cks in jail.
Part of me wishes for someone like him to get the death sentence. Yet another part of me sees death as the easy way out. Seems to me a worse punishment for someone like him who already has shown such little value for life, would be to place him in prison for the rest of his life and force him to have to face himself in the mirror each and every day.

he's on 23 hour lockdown. he won't be released into general population for a while. so he gets to spend 23 hours of the day with an horrific person - himself!
he's probably crying like a beehotch for now. and then once the crying stops a new game will set in for him, not to mention some crazy broads will start writing him and then it'll become a whole new hustle and game for him -- a lifeline to enjoy and play out daily
he'll definitely be a pin-up boy for future and current serial killers.
I just don't like that we're clothing, feeding and medically taking care of his ass as well as other degenerates like him. let them find their own food or throw garbage collected from local areas into the yard and let them find a meal. as for clothes and medicines (that don't protect the guards from getting sick)
pluh-eaze, let's start cutting some costs!! strip 'em!

Good point Gingie! Never thought about us feeding, clothing them with tax money. Using taxes to put them away and keep them there is fine, but paying for their food and clothing Im not too keen on the idea.
I say you bill them for it as they go into jail. If they don't have the money to pay for it, then the state gets to liquidate everything they have to pay for their "stay"

Bob Costas declines to host Larry King show on BTK Rader
I'm 50-50 on this one, I have to agree with his decision but at the same time think maybe there could have been some healing for family depending upon the topics to be discussed.

I still can't believe people like Dennis Rader exist. I only recently learned about Gacy and a couple of others like him. while not surreal to the family and loved ones of victims, it seems too out there to do something like to another human being and then get up daily and do stuff like have coffee, pick up paper outside, go to work, and mow the lawn.
seems like there should be a chute where you can press a button and these people fall down it and go directly to hell. do not pass jail, just go straight to literal hell. for now, life in prison will have to do *sigh*
