You won't get too interested in it by jumping to book 6.

But it can hook you when you start at book one.
I have not gotten past chapter 2 in this book either. Mainly because I have concentrating on housecleaning.

Well I don't think I'll be going back to read the others, only because I've seen the movies, and they fulfilled my curiousity about Harry Potter enough. Like I said, I'm not really one for READING fantasy fiction. But the movies seem to be well put together.

I'll let you know if I keep reading though. ;-)
