:whoa: Colleen, I thought of you about gas.

My friend picked me up to go to church at 3h20 and we stopped at the gas station because he needed gas, it was 1.12 $ a liter, when we came home, we saw the gas station and gas was 1.32 $ a liter, it got that high in 1 freaking hour.

So in my area, at this moment, gas is : 4.99 $ :whoa: In 1 freaking hour.

OFF topic but we did the mass today for those affected by hurricane Katriana, we may be far, but we strill think of them.

well, these gas prices are crazy! :wall:

But yeah...gas is still $2.59/gal here for unleaded...which isn't TOO bad. I'm just glad I only have to fill up once every two weeks.

The bus would be way, WAY too inconvienent for me, seeing as how I'd have to probably take several buses to get to school/work (Even though I wouldn't have to pay anything because students get to ride free...one of the few perks of attending CSU) Believe me, if I could move closer to school/work I'd say screw the car altogether...

another reason why nyc subways, Long Island railroad and metro north railway are sweet. people can park and ride w/out worrying about gas.

maybe this should make more cities think long and hard about why some type of underground or monorail transportation hasn't been made available.

:whoa: be happy with 3.00 a gallon. in some areas of the southeast because of Katrina and pipelines being knocked out... well are you ready?

$6.07 a gallon

so going to Venezuela with gas cans and filling them up at $0.12 a gallon don't sound so bad right about now huh?

WOW! I'm surprised that prices are that high in Michigan!! Having lived on the Michiana boarder most of my life, Mich. was usually always cheaper!!!

Yep, it's affecting us all over.
