this is the most bizarre thing I've heard since the 29 yr old sex offender posing as a 12 yr old to register for grade school. and damn that was only last week. what in the world is going on???okay, you had enough time to calm down driving 900 miles. and the guy was not her boyfriend. and I heard she STUNK from the diaper when arrested. I can imagine.
but you know what is a trip, she'll get offered movie deals and lots of $$ to tell her story. only because she's an astronaut, and held to a "higher" standard.
a poor person would have been thrown under the jail, not allowed bail or had a higher bail set. and that's including w/a clean record.
the late night laffs about her have been hilarious. Conan said Nasa will add a new question to the screening process. Leno said she was released on bail but talk about a flight risk. she could be on Mars by now. Letterman said her plan was foiled but it's not like she's a rocket scientist.
on a sad note, the kids are who I feel most sorry for. I watched the live bail hearing which means her neighbors watched and probably TiVo'd it. priceless. this case will become more sensational than the Runaway Bride, who is probably sitting at home going OMG! and relieved
because she will be long forgotten w/this new story.
