First, Mr. Ludwig, the boys father is a firearm collector. These firearms were locked in a gun vault and the collection was accumulated over a long long period of time. Through a few generations, The boy had access to only one gun. Not anything else in the Ludwig home.

N e kid who thinks the way to resolve his probs is thru violence learned this in their home or was raised in a family of off & not all there people. Ludwig's father looks like he spent more time investing in guns 4 a collection than investing in his family & collecting info on what was going on with his son. The kids had 2 much room 2 deceive.

Nothing wrong with gun collecting with responsibility but parenting is a responsibility too.

How unfair to that girls siblings that she just non-chalantly ok'd her boyfriend to take their parents away. Where will THEY go? What will THEY do?

I know I didn't like my parents too much in my teens, but who did? I definitely was not thinking about having them murdered, either.

this story is very sad because 2 parents are dead and 3 kids are w/out parents even if 1 didn't seem to care.

but this story is far from the romeo and juliet comparison for this story. this 18 year old was sick and had no concern for the outcome or how many lives he'd destroy.

just think if they were allowed to date and Kara wanted to leave him for someone else as she's only 14 and would have changed her mind eventually about him. he would have killed Kara AND the parents and others probably.

I too think he was a ticking timebomb that people just blew off.
