it's just so eerie because I was going to his site to post something. you could just talk to him via his site.
and my aunt who recently died has a photograph of her and him when he was in prison for shooting up his wife's car. she was a corrections officer in San Bernadino County. she's in her uniform and all w/him in the pic, they're both arm and arm smiling, him smiling moreso as his time was up.
I wanted to get a copy to him for old times sake, but never called my cousin because it felt awkward asking for a photo after her mom had just died.
we all used to sneak our older cousins or parents Richard Pryor LP's and play it for hours laughing. his LP's kept us out of trouble because it was safer for all of us to be in one group just laughing than alone doing something we wouldn't have no business doing -- you know how creative kids can be.

The truth shall make you free. Well F that! Pay me!
My mom has Pryor LP's. She never plays them around us and holds on to them like treasures. She said Pryor crossed all races, and made a lot of people think and talk about things at the right time.
Being Italian I guess we were the 1st niggas on tthe block My mom says his comedy helped her get through hard times.
