why do black people buy new cars

and brand new cars from a dealership, but don't invest in insurance or calculate insurance as part of car payments.
then when something happens, it's everyone else's fault they no longer have a car, or there's some sob story about not knowing how hard it is in the hood or w/kids.
can someone explain this mystery to me?

i promise you that is not just a black thing.
I see it all the time. Ppl of all walks of life trying to hide their car b/c they can't afford the $75/year city city, hiding their car b/c they can't affford a $25 parking permit...
not driving their car b/c they have a flat and can't afford a new tire, or need an oil change, or need a tune up, etc. etc. and these aren't in the ghetto! These are in nice hoods, where ppl have nice homes and good jobs. WTF.

dang, I thought this was just a ghetto fabulous thing because they are riding around and profiling and the first thing purchased is a new set of rims and sound system and new cd's. figured you add up that cost, there's your insurance right there.
but in nice neighborhoods too? come on, that's trifling. w/a home you're never broke, you can always get cash. I guess trifling knows no income level.

when da man at da auto repair shop told Beaudreaux that it would cost 1400 dollah to fix dat car's air conditioning, He just laughed at him and said, "Hell, I can fix dat myself, me; for a whole lot less den dat!" MY MOMMA DIDN'T RAISE NO FOOL !!!!!!!
