I think the little sound bite played over and over was wrong in several ways. I also have an issue w?Wright slamming Sen. Clinton because she does not have it easy at all. she is under as much scrutiny as Sen. Obama. and it was also insulting because Pres. Bill Clinton was the only U.S. President to apologize for slavery.

however, the sound-bite baited the lemmings in for ratings. if you heard the entire sermon, what he said made sense because of the topic. but you know our mainstream media - part of the problem not solution. but the entire sermon gave NO ONE a pass in regards to "got damn America", he was slamming everyone who had done wrong.

and if there is someone out there who believes the U.S. was an innocent lamb and didn't contribute to the events leading up to 9/11, inlcuding events on 9/10, please friggin' see me so i can see what clueless really looks like!

On my feet at that. I think he is wrong for slamming her cause she getting messed with too, but at least Obama isn't "FORGETFUL" as she is. I mean how does she have the nerve to say that Wright wouldn't be her pastor when he ministered to her husband during his time of trouble. I wanted to vote for her because I really didn't know anything about Obama. But the more I watched the more classier he got and the more spoiled child like she got. that is true! use your brain! but keep in mind, Hillary is so busy folks are writing almost everything she says. I wouldn't be surprised that a staffer wrote that speech about her Bosnia visit, not even realizing it didn't apply to Hillary.

just for the record, white supremacists ONLY focus on what they (ironically being superior) feel are racial comments from the persons considered inferior to them. while sitting in a superior position, white supremacists loathe hearing words like "black community", but created all black communities because of forced segregation and now voluntary segregation.

in Haselbeck's mind, Sen. Obama is a racist and hypocrite because of his pastor. the way she just drilled Sen. Obama about his pastor was soooooo David Duke style. She had nothing ELSE to ask, except about her taxes, which was appropriate coming from her (I want to make sure my tax dollars benefit me and those like me!!!).

well, since Sen. Obama is guilty by association, let's get a list OF ALL the republicans Haselbeck has supported. and I'll bet we can find some Jim Crow supporters and exclusive world persons who want an all white world or all white on top world. let's start with Cheney-Dick! funny how the media tends to overlook legacy Jim Crow ties to Capitol Hill.

Haselbeck continually zeros in on comments from blacks while ignoring the behavior of the "superior" side she sits on which trigger the comments she hears! she acts like black people are sitting at the top of the White House, and in all other positions of power - FBI/CIA director, Federal Reserve Chairman or board member, World Banking President, religion, education (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Rutgers, West Point, Citadel, Dartmouth, Columbia presidents and other institutions that "breed" our leaders) - and are just complaining about whites!

I grew up in the south, and am part of a racially diverse family (black, white and japanese). I've heard more racially motivated comments from Haselbeck THAN I have growing up in the south! and I grew up in the same area as a member of David Duke's family, not to mention attended the same high school as David Duke where his legacy lasted until I arrived some years later.

for someone who wants the problem to "go away", Haselbeck continues to fuel it with her ignorance of the subject matter.

the more I watch the show, the more I think Haselbeck is a racist. her tone, her focus, her demeanor, etc. indicate this. but I'm sure she'd disagree. well, she sees ONLY what she wants to see, I see only what I can see - a "new" republican sitting in a position of superiority complaining about the other side she's pretty much ignored throughout her life. it's really sad because the republican party was once the party of progress and change. now, it's the party the KKK, who were predominately Democrats, have jumped to. and it's unfortunate, because there are quite a few decent republicans like Colin Powell who are overshadowed by folks like Billy Cunningham, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Pat Robertson and now Elisabeth Haselbeck.

my guess is either Haselbeck grew up poor and her immediate family members were passed over for jobs because of affirmative action, which would explain her bitterness over "black community", "black empowerment", "black improvement".

or her family members migrated to this country during Jim Crow taking advantage of the "land of the opportunity" (which to me is the equivalent of immigrating to Auschwitz during Hitler's reign over jews) while ignoring the treatment of blacks, then years later wants to know "what is black people's problem? why can't they stop complaining? when will the racial comments stop?"

I can't support the show anymore or anything associated with Haselbeck. I will miss Joy, Sherry and Whoopi and the rounded out comments from Barbara. but I will now have a free hour to watch shows that don't support nonsense from folks like Haselbeck.

I watch The View just to see Whoopi's reaction to stuff she says. Its like she is saying in her head do you even think about what you say and then OMG she really fucking believes what she is saying. I also watch cause believe it or not she is saying what the new crop of typical white women are thinking. She really is Massa's Daughter saying We treat our niggers good all the time. We feed and clothe them way better than the people down the street that don't even give the field niggers shoes.
