Getting to know MAKEWAYZ aka "Reggie"

Good and not so good books read. Books to be released and books to get. Books better suited for kindling or cigarette paper. Yup you guessed it, all about books....

Getting to know MAKEWAYZ aka "Reggie"

Post by Makewayz »

Hello to everyone. I just wanted to drop a link to a posting I made on my company's message board, (The site looks awesome, thanks to Tam) :D

It's just a little bit of the driving factor of one of my Novels I'm currently working on. I don't wanna put too much of it online ... So for starters, I just posted 2 letters that will be talked about in the book.

Let me know what you think. You can do it here, or you can comment on my board. Thanks everyone.

a good thank you for the site would be $$ :D

but wow, her letters sound like she was in love with someone else, or an idea of someone that could never be. for women in her situation, she needs to realize that what happened wasn't about her, and to let that change her into thinking she's a bad person because the relationship failed because of sexual preference and other issues. she needs to find her true self, which is hard for women because they spend so much time running to a relationship out of fear of being alone w/out even knowing who they are or much about the person they're running to.

and this is esp. the case down south, women are groomed for marriage at a young age and constantly being asked about marriage or encouraged to find someone. and ironically by people who are not in decent relationships, go figure!

just my opinion.

i didn't say she didn't love you or wasn't in love with you. she was in love or loved an image that wasn't what she thought it was. and thus is probably running to anyone that she thinks can show her love instead of looking at her own self worth.

There's something in your post that's not right.

You say, "She was in love or loved an image that wasn't what she thought it was."

But that's not true, because I am a MAN, and I was created in GOD's image. I loved her, and had we gotten married ... I would have been faithful to her.

Makewayz,

Thanks for letting me read your letters. I've got a feeling that she really hadn't put the past behind her and that she put you through hell. Good luck with the novels. More importantly, I hope your daughter is well and that you are able to have a good relationship with her.

somehow I knew Dean was gonna respond to this one for several reasons.

anyway, she loved a heterosexual man and had an idea that their man/woman/child family would be together forever or that the heterosexual love was reciprocal.

perhaps in your confusion and being given a daughter, you possessed stronger feelings for her that both of you interpreted as love. however, your ultimate desires are for men, not women, therefore, she loved a heterosexual man who could not fulfill her heterosexual needs and thoughts (a heterosexual man who couldn't exist), thus her hurt which she is probably taking internally, which is normal for anyone to blame themself first either for not knowing sooner or NOT being told sooner, as in the person didn't have enough respect for me to tell me sooner before more feelings developed.

people's hearts are not toys, they're the essence of their soul.

it's like getting involved with a prostitute who's always around, shares feelings in a caring way, but the trick's ultimate goal is getting paid and moving on to higher paying customers, while the other person involved is twisting their sincereness and caring with love.

if you give people facts at all times or in the case of a prostitute, make it clear up front that only a fantasy is being provided, the person can make the right choices ahead of time, not have them suffer the consequences of not knowing later. sidebar  - many people still fall in love with hookers daily even knowing it's a fantasy.

Hey Dean ... thanks for your positive words my friend. My daughter and I do have a good relationship. She loves me, and I love her more. It's alot of things missing from that post, that will be added later, as well as a much more indepth conversation being provided in the book.

Tam, I have to address your opinions I highlighted in red. You have ME confused as a person. You're suggesting that this lifestyle was something that was going to be my path regardless, and that is truly not the case at all. Being that you can't place yourself inside of me, and feel what I felt back then, you can't say that I wasn't heterosexual just because you know that I mess with men now. My feelings never were ALLOWED to get to this point until after I left my daughter's mother. The experiences I had had with dudes before our break-up were all out of curiousity. It's just like people who have tried this and that drug out of CURIOUSITY, and then later on was rehabilitated. I KNEW for a fact that I did not want to be with a man (Then) ... I wanted her. The first dude I ever had sex with was a very good friend of mines, which she actually knows, and loved him ... We spoke about what we did while I was in the military. And I told him then, we could never do that again. He understood, and we knew that we would be friends forever after. It was upon my going into the military that I learned the value of raising a family, taking care of home, being the MAN of the household. I learned so much in the military, I don't wanna go on and on about it right now. But you are making it seem like had she married me, I would have eventually cheated on her with a man, and that is NOT the case. I believe in a monogamous relationship. I matured to a certain level when I was in the military, and all I wanted was for her and my daughter to be with me. I didn't give shit about laying with a man ..because (at that time) ... I didn't see anything a MAN could do for me LONG-TERM ... and I damn sure wasn't gonna be doing funny shit, being married, having a daughter. Lord have mercy. I look down upon men who do that NOW. To this day. I KNOW MEN personally that have families and they sleep with men, and I ALWAYS TELL them how I disapprove of that. So we are going to have to agree to disagree, but you do have your opinion.

just telling how I feel as a woman or how most women would feel. breakups of families are hard enough as it is w/out having to throw in the opposite sex factor, as in my wife left me for another woman or my husband left me for another man.

perhaps since you're on the other side of the shoe, you can't see this part, only what you felt and just hoped that she understood as you had to do your thing. meanwhile on her end millions of questions probably went through her mind afterwards, unless she's just emotionless.

ideally any woman married to a man who secretly desires other men would like to know this up front. I don't know, I know I sure the hell would. now men with a wife who desire other women, ironically wanna throw them both into the mix

not saying you didn't care for her, however, what her ultimate idea of happiness you couldn't provide any longer for her.

I wasn't desiring anyone but her. And I didn't leave her for a man. I left her because she was hurting me. And she clearly didn't want to be with me.
