miltie. tell me you're kidding about PDAs? but just in case, BlackBerry handheld phones with a built-in web browser, Palm, T-Mobile's Sidekick, and other similar devices. they're actually easier than computers as they can only do so much.

I'm usually technologically on the up and up, but I do not want to be electronically chained to a PDA. My cell phone is enough.

I just recently learned what bluetooth is!

All I need is the "Get It Now" feature on my VZ phone and that's enough mobile WWW for me!

yup i know what you mean. i just like the convenience, esp. when standing in lots of long lines at places. in nyc you commute a lot. so need something to do to pass time.

of course, doesn't work on subways, but when walking or other areas with lots of waiting, helps to stay in touch, so when I get home, I'm not hurried on puter.

My company bought me a Dell PDA. I love it !!!! I don't have the internet hooked up on it though but I email aloooooooooot from my phone. Modern technology. It wasn't so long ago we were using those heavy black rotary dial phones that were awesome for hitting big sisters over the head with !!

yup phones and pda's are going a long way. and with more and more new technology. the computer may soon become an alternative one day.

so many people I know have a Blackberry, Palm Treo or T-Mobile Sidekick. helps to stay in touch and get immediate info.

I got stopped by the cutest state trooper when I was reading directions after thinking I was lost one day. he was like "are you ok?" because i was on and off the emergency shoulder. i was like "I am NOW"

. but he was nice and just checking as you never know. he'd never seen the sidekick and a whole conversation started about it. he was impressed at what all it could do. and no ticket.

and so after I raped him.... oh my bad... that's for another day/topic.

but this style is nice because you can change your background color and it loads the text quickly instead of trying to fight with loading a style with a lot of graphics.
