I agree that the bible has been translated by human, I also can tell you that in my mind gay people go to heaven like me. I think that God gaves us the freedom to choose many things, I'm not gay but i don't think you choose your sexual orientation, I always believed you are born with your sexual orientation. But what do i know about that ? And I don't think that you will be punished by God because you are gay. I think that he'll judge you for what you did and what you knew at that time...What we all knew...
It may be a sin, well technically according to the bible it is...But u know, i'm not much into theological debate.. But what matters is your HEART, actions towards yourself and others, the way you were....I don't think that who you were sexually attracted to will be the most important thing when Judgment Day will arrive...
What I mean Reggie is that we are all equal, gay, straight, Black or white or Asian...For me all men/women are equal....
And I was one of the one that didn't appreciate the " C " word...I mean towards us women it's one of the worse insults...I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate someone calling your little girl that way....So i'm sure you can understand....

Wow, now THIS is what I call a discussion. It certainly does bring some interesting thoughts to mind as far as lifestyle / behavioural justification.
Of course murder, rape, pedophelia, and yes, homosexuality (sorry Reggie - not a jab at you specifically) are wrong and are sins in the eyes of a Christian. If they weren't, this whole discussion wouldn't matter in the first place... no one would be talking about justification or bringing up how Jesus died for our sins and applying it to a particular lifestyle or behaviour.
Now, that being said, personally, I have absolutely nothing against homosexuals. My Uncle is gay and I was blessed with being brought up in a family that accepted him for who he is and not focusing on his sexual orientation (ain't none of my business how he does his bidnezz, ya know?). Besides, who am I to judge what's right and what's wrong? Would I do participate in his lifestyle? Well, no. Would I avoid hanging out with him because he's gay(if he wasn't my Uncle)? Of course not.
Now, living right smack-dab in the middle of the Bible belt, sometimes it's strange to hear this (my church is very good about this, I think)... but in the end, it's what's in a person's heart that decides whether they're going to be in God's kingdom. While acknowledging the Bible's position about homosexuality, we don't condemn people for who they are or what they do (which, I think, is the true essence of being a Christian in the first place... if Jesus can be tolerant and forgive, aren't we supposed to be the same way?).

personally when reggie told me a while back that he was gay... i was shocked but at the same time i was happy for him... i really didn't expect it he looks like such a ladies man.. but when he said that he was i was soo proud of him that he was one of those ppl who aren't afraid to show thier true self... i mean repressed gay men and women have to deal with sooo much just to try to conceal thier identity from everyone just cuz its frowned upon by the society... but the truth is the only reason they are frowned upon is because ppl in general are afraid of change and ppl who are diffrent because it taps into thier insecurities... just like it did with the romans and jesus.. just because he belived or did things diffrent'y they felt threatend and like they were loosin thier power amongts the community and had to assert power and hate.. in order to keep thier followers.....
