Spam and Terrorism

Post by Hmph »

as i'm reporting messages daily I'm finding that all domains behind the spam are registered to bogus or overseas addresses. and the one thing that stands out, any idiot that purchases anything from these folks is probably funding terrorism or an organized crime group.

someone's obviously buying this crap illegally or spammers wouldn't keep sending spam daily.

one company which is cleverly evading law enforcement and registrars is Newport Internet Marketing in Seattle. the domains are usually broadcastavertise.com, broadcastadvertise.biz, broadcastadvertise.org and now broadcastadvertise.us. this service gathers addresses from whois info and scripts to scour html code for contact addresses and then adds those addresses to its list which it then sells to others to spam away under bogus email addresses.

the spam is legal, but forging and hiding from address is illegal.

the company's contact information is identical to their order fulfilment, but the order fulfilment claims it knows nothing about the company.

either way, it all adds up to fraud. BASTIDS!!!
