Microsoft decides to make new browser/search engine

Post by Hmph »

:wait: only when someone outdoes their browser does the need come along to actually create what should have been created in the first place. but can't blame them, this is what big companies are all about. get it out for deadlines, stock and sales. and in the end the customer has to pay ultimate price for whatever couldn't be fixed before deadline.

in another story they're not developing anything for the mac again, which means educational institutions, medical facilities and a large user base can't use services that require Internet Explorer such as CNN or Netscape.com, which means less $$. and the funniest thing w/out updates they can't use microsoft's own site: msn.com!! man why not give me millions to make bonehead decisions like this. it's like saying, no we don't want to increase sales, we want to pray the windows' competitors and linux don't outdo us.

yup, but they're not thinking of that. right now they're falling into a catchup mode and up and coming companies have them ripe for picking with ideas and technology. oh and uh sigh this contract for the distribution of your ideas to come, buddy :D we'll go over small details later. man between RWA gone wild and your techology, I'll be set.

oh yeah as for the not developing a new 6.0 browser for the mac, that also eliminates the majority of european areas, which primarily rely upon macs, from using internet explorer 6.0 only services

which means current services, if they want to maintain the euro market, will now have to redevelop their services to not just be exclusively IE6.0 compatible.

I ain't signing your stupid contract to take all MY money away...however, be nice to me now and I may remember you when I get rich....

But yeah, thats gonna be tough redesigning those services to work with other browsers...IE has such a monopoly right now....

What we REALLY need is a single, internet standard for ALL pages to follow so that no matter WHAT browser is used the page will work correctly, but nope, no one is gonna think of that now will they?

hey King buddy :D :hello: how u doing? :cheer: sssssh yall King is here.

but yup, it's gonna come down to that, as in standards for browsers, then add your hoopla after conforming. that way you choose a browser because you like it, not becasue you're forced to it.

because bad move by microsoft all around to not develop a new 6.0 mac browser given europe, educational institutions, medical orgs and other mac markets. that's saying we're pushing that responsibility off to Apple for MS mistakes - as in clean up our mess. and if I know Apple, it'll be :yeahright: instead someone, including you, will come along and OVERTAKE their market. can't sit on a throne forever. :nope:

oh here are links on one of the new browser stories:
