only when someone outdoes their browser does the need come along to actually create what should have been created in the first place. but can't blame them, this is what big companies are all about. get it out for deadlines, stock and sales. 
and in the end the customer has to pay ultimate price for whatever couldn't be fixed before deadline.in another story they're not developing anything for the mac again, which means educational institutions, medical facilities and a large user base can't use services that require Internet Explorer such as CNN or Netscape.com, which means less $$. and the funniest thing w/out updates they can't use microsoft's own site: msn.com!!
