how do you know when a male is in love

Post by Hmph »

does he clean the toilet seat? does he let you hold the remote? is it obvious things?

like women you know right away. we're pretty emotional about everything when love is involved.

but for men, what things do you do differently when you're in love? is it just doing things you wouldn't normally do, like a Ballet on a game night.

get back to me... :wait:

I would like to know as well.

And while you're all 'splaining this to us, give us some pointers as to how we can differentiate between you guys kissing our asses to get laid, and kissing our asses because you love us. :lashes:

Thats a good question...and a tough one for me to answer, cause I've never really been in love before...even though I came close once...*ALERT! FLASHBACK IMMINENT!!!* I remember I was in high school...and I had a huge crush on this girl since I met her the summer of my first year in hs...by the time senior year rolled around she had a very crazy, disrespectful boyfriend...I really just wanted to tell her how I felt about it, and say something .like "Stay away from him" or "Hes no good for you...you deserve someone better..." ya know. But I couldn't bring myself to do it...because I felt it wasn't my place to judge. Anyways, one morning her and her sister came by my house because they missed the bus and needed a ride to school...so I gave them one. ANd basicaly, I did what I could to look out for her whenever I could...whether it was giving her rides...making sure she was ok...that type of stuff. Sad part is I never told her how I felt...*sigh*.

I guess the point of this long-winded off-topic story is that you never really know when a man is in love with you until he tells you. (without any poking from ya'll that is) If he starts acting differently around you than he normally would, starts being really, really nice to you or just does random things outta the ordinary that you would never expect. Love is a very strong feeling...and no one thing can truly determine it...but us men tend to let our actions speak for themselves...

Oh my...I've probably said waaaaaay too much. Oh well.

wow good info.

but the end part:

this is the "confusing-pulling our hair out" or "commence to strangling" part and this is the reason men and women don't get along

like I slept with someone else to get change at a gas station. what does that action say? and I'm sure, as my name is Tamra, that there's a man out there who's used that excuse somewhere on the face of this earth.

One way to know is that I'm answering this question like you asked :wait:

But sometimes you don't always know you are in love. You may like a person a lot and enjoy being around them. Women confuse that with love. But one good way to know is we show up for the wedding. :lmfao:

I knew when Tracy became a priority for me. All decisions I made, I thought about how it affects her.

Oh Miltie, we're always kissing ass to get laid. This never changes in love or out of love.

When u c a guy holding a woman's purse while she's trying on clothes or just walking around, stick a fork in him - he's done.

And that was whack. Maybe you need to read some Essence.

Kingfo said it best, you don't know if a *someone* is in love with you unless they tell you. And sometimes that isn't real either. I may come back and answer it more in depth later ... but for now I'm out. Good night!
