but their actions don't match their words. thus why we have to ask this simple question, how do you know so you're not pushing the good ones vs. the game players aside.
but King also said that he demonstrated that he cared by doing things to let her know he cared about her. I guess that's one clue.
like I know love isn't spiteful, deceitful, harmful, shouldn't belittle or degrade you, isn't inconsiderate or disrepectful, nor should it be shameful.
the relationship should be quality and have integrity, meaning you can look back on it years later and still see something quality about it, not "eeewww, why in God's name was I even with that person?" or "what did I even see in them?".
I would also think that someone who knows how to be a friend to someone is also someone who knows how to demonstrate actual love. but one problem is understanding of friendship. some people think friendship is give, give, give, or get, get, get. and really anything starts with loving yourself as in having enough respect for yourself to know qualities you're bringing as well as what qualities actually exist in other person, and go from there.
