The Apprentice - 2005

Post by Silly Wabbit »

Did anyone watch last nite? The firing was obvious. What's with the bring 1 in when there's option to bring in 2? Kristie was almost fired instead of Melissa by trying that last week, but Melissa talked herself into the firing. Idiot Chris thought he could pull same trick. But he talked himself into a firing. :lmfao:

 yes I saw it. and as soon as Trump told Chris he didn't think Marcus should have brought in because of mistakes others made and he brought him in anyway, I knew it was all over. Chris had :loser: written all over him. Marcus had input, it was not listened to and turns out it was right.

can't prejudge members of your team for a team project. but Chris was smart to silence Marcus about a pitch before even hearing what the client wanted. too bad Chris didn't pay attention to what the client wanted.

but Kristie, miss southern bell, was obsessed with ragging on Marshand, the black woman team leader. the sister won't last but a minute on the show anyway. I don't know if they're picking them for "must have" purposes, but they never match the reality of the world they'll be entering if they were to go all the way.

every meeting I'd go to was surrounded by all white males with a few asian males and white/asian females who dressed like men in dresses. it's still a man's world at the top.

tonight (10/6) on the apprentice: and this guy's a candidate: "right now chris and marcus IS in the board room". :o ladies and gentlemen, your next president of the united states.

and these are supposed to be the best and smartest candidates. I didn't get his name because I wasn't looking at the screen. (I know sad to watch reality but not watch it) but I'll get it on the re-airing on MSNBC

I saw it last night. I never remember their names until they're in the board room  It was a cackle last night. :lmfao: So smart yet so stupid is what I can say about most of them. Smart is not putting people down when U R a team screw up. Toral pretty much called the other women low-class idiots & didn't understand how they were selected for the show after the others suggested she should be fired. :o

I think she will be fired soon. She most def won't go all the way.

it was this guy, Mark, who said "chris and marcus IS"
http://nbc.com/The_Apprentice_4/candida ... mark.shtml

reminds of the infamous Bush quote: "Rarely is the question asked is our children learning."

wow 2 weeks in a row and multiple firings. but Marshawn was a ball dropper. and Jennifer fired last week relied heavily upon her looks. the one I couldn't wait to see fired was Kristie. she got on my damn nerves w/her backstabbing.

unfortunately, the Kristi types are the common person who makes you not want to go back to work, or call in every chance you get while you're looking for another job because it's not worth it for a company to have that nonsense control each day.

Yeah I've been keeping up with it this season and I just have one thing to say about last week's show: What in the hell was that one guy (Can't remember his name) thinking when he only allowed for 15 minutes of travel time, in NEW YORK CITY DURING MIDDAY TRAFFIC?! I mean, not only did they miss their appointment for important execs that would JUDGE the displays, but they missed out on vital information...he deserved to be fired.

I still can't believe that one episode with the multiple firings though, that was nuts...but they did horribly

it was Brian. and he's a native New Yorker. he should have known better. or at least taken the damn subway to guarantee getting there on time. that wasn't a far distance but from where they were going continual gridlocks. would have been a short subway ride away. but I guess the subway is only good enough for the mayor who rides it daily to and from work

and to not have Darth Vader in the presentation, duuuuh! but that's what they got for being late and not knowing what was needed.

I stopped watching. All the candidates seem like bullshitters. For Toral to behave like such a dumbass with a coveted education makes absolutely no sense. I'm beginning to believe their backgrounds are made up & the candidates are models playing parts.

In the entertainment biz, nothing would surprise me.

Just glad the crackhead Martha Stewart show is gone

I caught the last 5 minutes of tonite's show. Bitchy Clay was finally fired. :lmfao: However, the song chosen by the losing team was awful.
