great show

don't know if yall have ever watched the show on cable's FX, but it's always been hot. the way it's shot makes it even more intense. I've never watched HBO's The Wire much, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. but the shield is definitely worth watching

I always forget what time it airs & never watch, but am after. Everyone says it's good. I can't even remember to Tivo it, but will add that to list of things along with getting previous seasons on DVD

hmm hmmm good this week. i've been catching the "catch up" shows. well worth the watch. dvd set is prolly a good gift for someone.

New season already starting off hot.

Trip part was this kid breaking out n running when cops came knocking on his door. Kids mom lied about being home.

Kid jumps on a mini-motor bike.
Bike falls over.
Kid breaks out running.
Runs in park.
Fires @ random people & hits them.
Car jacks someone.
Mackey takes a construction crew's truck.
Rams the car the kid jacked.
Cuffs kids on ground with his partner.

Meanwhile the kids mom is about 300 lbs is running behind them. Mom catches up to Mackey cuffing kid then asks "Why are you arresting my son?"

Mackey comes back with 'He ran a red light' looking at the mom as if she is on crack.

[Hmph]

Forrest Whittaker's character is intense. he means business huh? the way he cozies up to Mackey's wife gave me chills because you could almost feel the character he's portraying.

he wants Mackey bad.

I think the attractive new female cop everyone is dissing will become a detective quickly and ruffle more feathers. reason being she would be good for undercover work to get in close w/hood gangsters or in the porn/prostitution world.

The Shield is hot. Most def more intense. I wonder how the season will end. Hard to believe it's a TV show. Feels like you're following folks around on their job.
