so this month, randomly selected 3 names, with 2 as runner up in event first winner can't accept prize.

and the winner is

1st: thewiseonecommeth (user #: 47)

2nd: The One and Only MM (user #: 58 )

3rd: jomasano (user #: 65)

ain't much, but prize is $25.00 in spending cash, and it ain't monopoly either.

so wiseone, contact me and I'll tell you how to collect. if he's not interested, prize will be given to next person and so on.

next month's categories will include "most thought provoking", "most controversial", "most admirable", but of course not limited to these. and each of you will be able to nominate a category and poster who'll be randomly selected by computer (makes it fair because the random function is really just that)

don't want people tailoring their posts to meet certain criteria, just be yourself.

sorry, the announcement was confusing, I'll change it. I couldn't use the funniest posting option because of disqualifications. so decided to just use a random drawing option instead.

oh and next month's categories will be combined with the karma points.

figured better to wait until the "faker" and other issues are weeded out

before using pts to issue prizes
