Just a reminder for newbies who wouldn't have received this information via news email:
Inactive user accounts (people who sign up, but never post) will be automatically deleted on a regular basis. Some inactive accounts with posts will remain for various reasons, but new users with 0 postings that have been activated for longer than 2 weeks will be deleted.
They can be recreated when person is available.
One reason why: people with inactive accounts have often changed emails and thus emails are returned.

hmm saw something interesting last night. someone who signed up and confirmed their account, then changed their account to invalid account with an invalid email suddenly got automatically deactivated by the system.
so I guess the system re-certifies the account if the email address is changed. just thought I'd let yall know as I didn't know that myself.
