But how does the forum make any money to pay for your time, let alone enough money to have a contest?

i certainly am not making any money for this as even people who owe me don't even pay me.

some things I get from others, like movie passes and certificates, etc. from time to time I will now pass on as they often expire and go to waste

oh and in some cases there will be white elephant gifts, meaning doesn't cost anything, except probably 3.00 in shipping.

for giving kudos (positive or negative) for a particular topic, underneath the poster's name/avatar (if available)/location, you click either + or - button

for "makewayz" as I'm sure dean is probably wondering as well, no points can be assigned to him at this time because of a previous issue.

Well that is my answer once again. It was makewayze
that I was trying to give Kudo's to.
So at least one thumbs up to Makewayze even if it does not show up.
I will try again on some dear deserving soul.
