I thought this would be a great idea for several reasons. it's just not right to have a company built by someone with integrity falter because of a con artist!

Because of the fake claim regarding a finger in the chili, Wendy's has lost millions which didn't just affect the corporation, but affected employees and their families as many employees from all levels of the company were laid off because of the loss of millions after consumers were afraid to eat at the restaurant nationally.

To send a message of support for the employees and others who suffered needlessly because of a con artist and fraud, next Wednesday, June 8, 2005 will be Eat At Wendy's day.

Sorry, there are no coupons or freebies attached, the company has already lost enough money because of a fraud.

Dave Thomas, the late founder of Wendy's, was a man with a great deal of integrity. He shouldn't lose what he worked honestly for because of an opportunist con artist.

Go and have lunch or dinner on June 8, 2005 and send your support. It will only cost you a few dollars, but overall the support will go a long way and send a powerful statement that con artists can't undo the honest work of others. And even if you're a vegetarian, there are a variety of veggie dishes and desserts available.

Hopefully, Anna Ayala will have to reimburse Wendy's for the rest of her life since she cared so little about how her fake claim would affect the worker bees with families to feed while she lived comfortably with multiple homes!

But in all honesty, I have no Idea where the closest Wendy's is to me! I haven't seen one in the 2 years Ive lived here, nor a Dairy Queen for that moatter. Anybody know chicago and can tell me?

thanks I'm trying to send out a mass email, but realizing that so many members have invalid email addresses so gotta do house cleaning first because the mail stops once it encounters a bad address

I thought about this last night after reading the story and thinking how messed up the families had it after being laid off.

oh and you may not have a wendy's near you, but may know of someone who does. so the main thing is to get the word out.
