any truth in Natalee Holloway disappearing previously while visiting Jamaica after a night of drugs and partying with strange men? I'm sure this would be documented in Jamaica??

I think since the public has been pushed into this story w/out providing clear details, it's time for all information about BOTH this girl's and the accused behavior to be disclosed.

maybe the facts about both will lead to answers

Nope, sorry Gingie.......that was just another rumor spread by LE to make it look like poor Natalee ran away or deserved to 'disappear'.

While I can understand how her mother must feel, I do have to wonder why we here in the US have to have this shoved down our throats every night while we watch the evening news. I don't wish anything bad to have happened to her, but what the hell am I supposed to do (here in CA) about what is going on in Aruba?? I'd prefer to hear updates when something happens, but at this point nightly recaps of her mother beating the drum is really getting to me.

I also have to agree with Tamra about friends taking care of friends. ESPECIALLY when your in a strange country. Good Grief, what were these girls thinking?

And the chaparones??...Were they with these kids at the club?? If so, they should have made sure there were enough chaparones to watch over them, as they were supposed to be doing.

in the MIDDLE of death and devastation from Hurricane Katrina, the media, including Nancy Grace, is still beating to death the Natalee Holloway nonsense.

her situation ISN'T a national tragedy. and frankly the overkill is making many feel insensitive to the story, esp. while interjecting updates among the hurricane disaster.

tell you what, ask all the people displaced with missing kids if they're concerned about Natalee Holloway. first many will say "who?" and then after finding out what happened in the Natalee situation will look at you like

please... an avoidable problem involving irresponsible teens and alcohol vs. a natural disaster destroying thousands of lives... which one will matter more?

Her mom is on TV making her daughter out to be a saint & a virgin. All the more reason to have had better chaperones. Maybe the mother should sue the chaperones.

The mother is a sympathy queen. She won't be happy until everyone feels sorry for her. But she's actually making me disgusted.

The more she talks the more I think her daughter led two lives. The good girl image & the when mom's not around hooch. The mother even saw her daughter's pics of her on the bar drunk & drinking it up.

Her friends should have watched her back more if she was drunk.

oh I know just when I thought it was OVERRRRR, as in no more friggin' updates. here we go again, and on every friggin' channel

only a few people know what happened: natalee, her friends and the guys she left drunk with. I just think everyone was irresponsible that night she disappeared and the mother can't go around fingerpointing at the dumb guys who did whatever with her.

and virgin my ass! yeah right. Natalee fits the profile of the typical rich southern debutant. sweet and innocent looking on the outside, but a wild thang as soon as no one "important" is looking. and her mother wants to believe she raised a saint that we should all feel nothing but sympathy for. DRINK RESPONSIBLY must not have been taught in their exclusive community!

and her friends don't seem to care too much. you don't see them out protesting or concerned. they've moved on as if she didn't even exist. strange, huh?

Holloway's sue van der Sloot kid who probably was the last one to see her daughter, and his father, because he fathered the kid

the van der Sloots SHOULD sue her ass back!!!

she's simply trying to place the pain of her daughter's irresponsible actions onto someone else. she's determined to keep Natalee a virginal saint who died innocently, while pics from the bar w/Natalee drunk and behaving like a girl ready to get laid speaks otherwise. she can't accept the fact that her daughter led a wild life when mommy's not around.

while she's suing the kid, sue the chaperone paid to watch her child get drunk off her ass or as "mom-me" put it, watched her get a date rape drug slipped into her drink (KEY WORD BEING DRINK!!! AS IN KIDS DRINKING UNSUPERVISED!!!!) and then escorted out of a BAR w/3 guys UNNOTICED

Holloway, 18, of Mountain Brook, Ala., was last seen May 30 leaving a bar with Surinamese brothers Deepak Kalpoe, 21, and Satish Kalpoe, 18, and van der Sloot, a Dutch national. The honors student was hours from ending her graduation trip.

The lawsuit says the father, Paulus van der Sloot, was an enabler of his son's "violent and anti-social lifestyle."

she's just angry because they were PROBABLY the last persons who saw her drunk daughter. they were fingering anybody. at first immediately fingered black guys working at the bar and I'm sure called him all sorts of racial names given they're from "exclusive Alabama" world. the black guys should sue the Holloways too!

what I wanna know is how come her hotel roommate didn't notice she was gone until the following day just before heading back to U.S.??? sounds to me like these girls are serious party girls and she didn't worry about her friend being out all night because this is standard behavior, and their behavior blew up in their face this time.
