Chris Rock for Bring The Pain and his family life

I'd like to pay homage to...

Who do you admire and why? Or has someone done something recently that you're very proud of?

Chris Rock for Bring The Pain and his family life

Post by Hmph »

lawdy if you haven't had a chance to see his Emmy award winning HBO's Bring The Pain by now, please do. you can rent it from a video store, but I suggest you buy it. it is a keeper. I can still watch this one over and over and still laugh.

he talked about the OJ case, racism (which was on point), women & relationships, hunger and fat people. :lmfao:

my favorite part was about a civil war going on between black people. there's black people and then there's niccas! niccas have GOTS to go!!! my phone blew up when this first aired on HBO

he goes, someone says, 'chris why must you always talk about the black man that way. it's the media'. he then says, "BULLSHIT! you think I got 3 guns in my house because the media is outside. Ted Koppel ain't never stole shit from me, but niccas have! when I go to the ATM I ain't looking over my shoulder for the media, I'm looking for niccas. RRRRUNNNN, IT'S MIKE WALLACE!!!"

also, his second comedy show, Bigger & Blacker was just as funny.

but on the other side, congrats for having a stable home life and not getting caught in the hollywood nonsense and b.s.
