but Pelosi ain't gonna do nothing anyway, even if the entire Democratic party stood behind this bill.

Pelosi's as big of an ass kisser as Frist.

personally, I don't blame Bush for the war, THE MAJORITY of senators voted for it whole heartedly! so it's a moot point to appeal to the group behind the war that Bush didn't enter into ALONE.

and the media has been the biggest sellers of the entire situation.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- In what was likely her final legislative act in Congress, outgoing Georgia Rep. Cynthia McKinney announced a bill Friday to impeach President Bush.

The legislation has no chance of passing and serves as a symbolic parting shot not only at Bush but also at Democratic leaders. Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, has made clear that she will not entertain proposals to sanction Bush and has warned the liberal wing of her party against making political hay of impeachment.

McKinney, a Democrat who drew national headlines in March when she struck a Capitol police officer, has long said that Bush was never legitimately elected. In introducing her legislation in the final hours of the current Congress, she said Bush had violated his oath of office to defend the Constitution and the nation's laws.

In the bill, she accused Bush of misleading Congress on the war in Iraq and violating privacy laws with his domestic spying program.

McKinney has made no secret of her frustration with Democratic leaders since voters ousted her from office in the Democratic primary this summer. In a speech Monday at George Washington University, she accused party leaders of kowtowing to Republicans on the war in Iraq and on military mistreatment of prisoners.

McKinney, who has not discussed her career plans, has increasingly embraced her image as a controversial figure.

She has served as host for numerous panels on September 11 conspiracy theories and suggested that Bush had prior knowledge of the terrorist attacks but kept quiet about it to allow friends to profit from the aftermath. She introduced legislation calling for disclosure of any government records concerning the killing of rapper Tupac Shakur.

But it was her scuffle with a Capitol police officer that drew the most attention. McKinney struck the officer when he tried to stop her from entering a congressional office building. The officer did not recognize McKinney, who was not wearing her member lapel pin.

A grand jury in Washington declined to indict McKinney over the clash, but she eventually apologized before the House.

but, the good news is we won't find her hanging from a tree for being vocal, not minding her tone. because back in the day (just 30-40 years ago), not only would she not have been elected, she could have been sweeping the floors of the Capitol Police building only.

I know and I smile everytime I drive down her parkway on my way to school. Its just that I wish sometimes she would just chill on some of the stands she takes. I was truly shocked when she asked that dude for the money Bush turned down for 9/11. I understand that she could put the money to good use in this area but thats was going a little too far. And this bill almost makes her seem like a joke not the serious woman she is. But she is smart anything happens to her and they are going to look straight at the White House like what the fuck is going on here.

and the other thing is she can sleep very well at night from a clear conscience. all those soldiers who are continually dying for a lost cause daily won't be on her hands because she voted against the war w/out a clear plan.

I keep hearing Iraq is in crisis, but Iraq wasn't in crisis BEFORE we entered it. they weren't crying for liberation BEFORE we entered it. nor were there all these little terror groups cropping up daily.

if Iraq was harboring terrorists, fine, after 9/11 wipe it out and call it a day! if Afghanistan was source of problem, then wipe that out and call it a day. but what we did was equivalent of entering the UK and declaring war w/citizens everywhere going "oh hell no".

I still say this was a personal issue between Saddam and Bush. I mean most of those people were from Saudi Arabia. Come on now. Saddam was a mother but he was over there not really giving a damn about us. I mean I support all the soliders cause they are only following orders, but the people giving the orders are full of shit. I wish more people our age and younger would realize that we need to go out and vote if we really want to see a change in the world. If you really want the White House and Congress to listen to us and do what we freakin want VOTE!!! Plain and simple I voted for Cynthia cause everytime she votes in a way I really would. She has monthly meetings where anyone in the district can come to her and say OH HELL NO or OH HELL YES or whatever and she actually listens to us and tries to do what she can. I mean Bush should have been impeached along time ago specially since they tried to get Clinton for a blow job. Bush is actually killing people and made a problem where there was none.

Okay enough of that I already know she will be back just give her a little time she will be back.
