counterfieting from China hurting this economy

Who's making a difference, and who would you like to see more of, and who just needs to get a clue? Who's part of problem or solution for everyone as a whole?

counterfieting from China hurting this economy

Post by Hmph »

in more ways than one.

jobs are being lost because profits are not coming back
taxes are not being paid.
intellectual property laws are ignored.

what's the point of spending money legally to make something if China will just create an illegal knockoff?

I hope you can catch CNN tonight regarding this story.

but over 750,000 jobs are lost yearly because of the counterfeiting problem (clothes, shoes, drugs, software, movies, music and more).

and what does Wal-Mart do? gives a bulk of its business to China as well.

now while our leaders are standing around w/thumbs up their butts trying to figure out a delicate way to handle it, people here are paying the price. and just how many more families need to be destroyed while waiting for congress to grow some balls! :wait:

and keep in mind, China's dollar is now worth more than ours.

I don't know about the economy. But NYC sure has enough counterfeiters to last a lifetime. A new one pops up daily. :sigh:

I won't be surprised to see a counterfeited "Made In America" Ford dealership to counterfeit the #1 hybrid vehicle.
