has anyone has?

but to be given that harsh a sentence means something else we're not aware of. it's not always the way it's written about and we don't always have all the minute court document details.

but unfortunately if this was a mistake and he didn't just get a warning from an honest mistake, then he's probably paying the price from others doing the same thing knowingly and illegally, and another reason why state drug laws differ.

if this medicine was so serious the question is why is it not legal in Florida. if it wasn't as critical/serious why didn't he take the time to get a doctor locally. the time he spent getting an Rx from a doctor some 1000+ miles away instead of just picking up the phone locally or walking into a hospital and getting help if he was in such pain is baffling

and why isn't anyone legally looking into this if it was an honest mistake?
It turned out that the doctor who was to busy that day to stop and think about waht he was doing. He wrote it, expedited it through overnight courrier
to his patient without thinking.
So when the Fed's showed up to arrest the doctor, he decided to say the patient forged the script, which carries a 5 year sentense.
He didn't want to lose his licsense. He wasn't given a warning.
Who knows, maybe had he fought the charge, he would have lost the lisense anyway.
AARP has finally taken on the case in the interest for the elderly.
Old people aren't insurable through normal walk in hospital plans.
Medicaid has a clause which won't allow the patient coverage if a hospital trip is out of convenience and not an emergency.
Doctors who take medicaid are sometimes booked 6 months in advance so getting a new doctor immediately would have meant out of pocket cost to the patient which was on disability and couldn't afford it.

2nd. Remember all the hoopla about teens and Oxycotin?
It got so bad that teens were getting lists of disability/pain patients and locating their addresses so they could break into the patients home and steal the prescription right off their bathroom counter. So the state decided to outlaw the drug. And suggest a derivative morphine based med to those in chronic pain.

surely there has to be a record of the overnight shipment? I mean come on. :eh:

yeah it's sad how more and more benefits are being cut for the elderly. :sigh: but hey I voted for the independent/green party candidate!

I want a president who looks out for ITS people and ITS resources first. not mistreat them and cut their benefits esp. after surviving through so much and making their last days miserable. sucks that congressional leaders will never have to worry about social security issues.

YUP! I'm sure there in lies a record of the phone call to the doctor and any faxes that transpired as well as an airship bill.
Will be an interesting case no doubt but the man has allready in in prison for some time.

Subject: DEPENDING ON YOUR GOOD PERSON

My Warmest Greeting,

How are you and your family? I hope all of you are fine.
I am 25 years old Sadou K.Hamal. It's my pleasure to contact you for a
business venture which I intend to establish in your country. I wish and
hope you can help me to invest in your country.
Though I have not met with you before but
I believe one has to risk confiding in someone
to succeed sometimes in life.

There is this huge amount of Eighteen million U.S dollars
($18,000,000.00) my late Father kept for me and my late mother in a
deposit house before he was assassinated by unknown rebels. Unfortunately,
my mother also was murdered after some month later, so I ran and took
refuge. Now I decided to invest this fund in your country or anywhere
safe enough outside Africa for security and political reasons. I need
your help to transfer this fund to your country for investment purposes on
the followings below:
1). Real estate
2). Five star hotel
3). Construction company
Or more profitable business

If you can be of assistance to me, let me know because I will like to
live in your country both for the investment and to further my education
in your country. For helping me, Iwill give you 25% of the total sum. I
want the fund out of here immediately so that I canstart a new life in
country.

Please confirm the receipt of this mail URGENTLY.You can write me on:
sadou@seckinmail.com

Extend my warmest regards to your entire family.
Best Wishes of the year and God bless you.
Sincerely Yours,
Sadou

well fortunately more and more people are catching on to this scam. I still can't believe people actually fell for this stuff and were either killed or attacked, or lost everything to these nuts.

if you still have the original email you should report it to the sentinel @ ftc.gov. they handle these to make sure no one who doesn't have sense gets jacked up.

and I love how they throw God bless you in there.

my only response would be "Thanks Satan, he does!" :haha:

and wait, he needs your help to decide to leave his country w/$18,000,000.00. not a travel agent or an accountant but you.
:yeahright:
