Baseball Season is Officially here!!!

Today is the home opener games for the Cubs and I'm here to tell you that Wrigleyville was ABSOLUTELY NUTS at 8:00 this morning. I live just a few blocks from the park so I pass it everyday on my way to work. This morning, the ticket line was wrapped halfway around the park, the vendors were all set up, busses were arriving, hundreds of Cubs fans were running amok and the bars were already open at 7:00AM!!!

Wonder how many folks called off work today in the Windy City - and other major sports cities around the country?? :d

never EVER heard of them. have they won any championships lately?

but baseball is still one of the few sporting events I wouldn't mind attending.

I know a few people at my job took off today to watch the Indians game...that was almost rained out...

I admit, I don't care much for Baseball in general so it wasn't a big deal to me...
