O'Neal and Wade played great down the stretch in Game 3, but the referees deserve a lot credit for Miami's win, too.

yeah, Wade is Shaq's new Kobe, but with sense.

and I hear Phil Jackson is coming back to coach NBA but can't decide on which team. a joke was going around about how he's narrowed his choices of teams down to 4: Miami, Detroit, Suns or Spurs. claims it's just a coincidence that the final four just happened to be his choices, because he does want a challenge.

would be interesting to see Phil Jackson in Miami. that would explain a lot.

and Boston, Houston and L.A. will be making some changes big time! making next year anyone's guess. and Iverson should wise up and make a move now.

it most definitely should have been Houston all the way on western end. I'm not even watching the Suns/Spurs matchup because there is none.

oh wait, now Phil Jackson is setting up a meeting with Kobe can't be faithful Bryant. hmmm... this could be interesting...

I thought I already explained this

- I didn't like people referring to him as the "heir" to Jordan. hayle, Harold Miner who is no where to be found IS STILL a better heir!

but his plays were/are too sloppy, esp. at crunch time to be considered an heir to Jordan. I don't know what crackhead started this "heir" idea, but they should switch drug dealers to clear up their confusion!

and Kobe's off court antics are disgraceful. but then again, as he says, it's the norm in the NBA to cheat with just about anything that opens its legs.

the thing is, no one can ever BE Jordan. some players you can never replace or see the same greatness (Chamberlain, Russell, Stockton, Kareem, Magic, Isaiah, Bird, Gervin, Havlicek, Olajuwon, and OMG, Dr. J). best resemblance to one of the greatest: Jason Williams of Kings/Grizzlies who reminds me a lot of Pistol Pete Maravich. http://www.nba.com/playerfile/jason_williams/index.html

and we have a tied series with Heat and Pistons. so now just best of 3.

to me whoever wins this series will win the NBA championship

no competition on the western side. and I can easily see a sweep of either Suns or Spurs.

that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I don't believe either Miami or Detroit will sweep the Spurs. I expect it to be a very competitive championship series with the Spurs winning in six or seven games.

yeah but I just found out the Spurs won

. I didn't even watch the series zzzzzzz

boring. I just don't think Spurs would be there if Houston had pulled it out. still baffled as to how Houston lost 3 in a row to Dallas. that was crazy and heartbreaking.

seeing Houston up against the Pistons or Heat, now that would have been an intense matchup. but for first time in a long time, I probably won't be glued to TV for NBA Finals as before but will follow along.

but maybe, just maybe Spurs may win 1 or 2, but the Heat and Pistons are a lot hungrier and have a lot more to come at players with. so to me, the Heat/Pistons series is the NBA finals as that winner will be the winner.

of course if I'm wrong in the end, I didn't say any of this... Nevermind...

U r right Tam. There is no comparison between Kobe & Jordan, other than havin affairs with cheap hussies.

But if Heat close out Pistons I think Heat will win Finals too.
But if Wade is hurt badly from today that could be a prob

After 2 1/2 uneven seasons as a Lakers teammate in the late '90s, Shaquille O'Neal said he has developed a new admira-tion now that he has been reunited with Eddie Jones.

"We have much more respect for each other than we did," O'Neal said. "When I first played with Eddie, I used to yell at him a lot and jump on him a lot, because that was the only way I knew how to get him to play.

"But now it's different respect and a different relationship. It does feel different, because this is the first time in my career and his career that we don't have players that have individual agendas, have players trying to do their own thing."

The third wheel during those years in Los Angeles was guard Kobe Bryant.

"It's been a drama-less year. I'm not used to that coming from where I come from," O'Neal said. "[Jones] understands that me and him have only three or four more years left. We want to get it done now."

Shaq just can't let it go. He used to yell at him (Eddie Jones) a lot and jump on him a lot, but it was Kobe's fault. Also, I never heard Kobe compare himself to Jordan, I wouldn't blame him for the comparison made by others.
