not only did the heat not beat the pistons, the pistons haven't shut out the spurs. but it ain't over

but if spurs win, my prediction about whoever won the eastern conf wins finals will also be wrong.

and since I'm NEVER :snooty: wrong, the end is near. enjoy your days because me being wrong is definitely a sign of the apocalypse!
:wait:

I'm not watching the series. Just can't get into it. Even sports bars are empty or watching baseball mostly. Pretty strange 4 an NBA Finals.

1. There is one very good reason to root for the Pistons to win the NBA Finals, and not just so Rasheed Wallace can stop whining about the officials. Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, who is also the girlfriend of Spurs point guard Tony Parker, said during a recent appearance on FOX's Best Damn Sports Show Period that she has a wager with former Pistons forward John Salley. If Detroit wins, Longoria will return to the show wearing a bikini. If the Spurs are victorious, Salley is supposed to appear on Housewives wearing a Speedo. It's not clear if ABC has signed off on the stunt given that it likely would be ratings killer.

ok the spurs won. :sigh: i'm just not a tim duncan fan. maybe it's his wife that turns me off about him.

but I still say this was houston's win. i think houston would have gone all the way if not for the dallas fiasco. the spurs played sloppy throughout the playoffs and managed to squeak by. but I guess did their homework for detroit.

but  the good news is I get to see john salley in a speedo on desperate housewives this coming season. :lashes:

NBA days are ending

and the end is definitely near. I'm pretty much through with basketball. I can't support the players any longer. between the fighting, the hoochies crying rape, the side mistresses, murders, interracial marriages - can't stand black women fools like Barkley, etc. it's hard to focus on the game.

and when there's a good game going something strange or foul happens and the team that should have advanced doesn't.

since Jordan and a few other infamous players left, the game has not been the same or as exciting. it's more like a soap opera with a ball and just waiting for next drama to unfold.
