congrats. but they are really crying in Houston. I mean really crying. it was on a news show earlier about how upset they were. but hey look at it this way, the San Antonio Spurs won the NBA championship and who won the superbowl this year??

i'd be cryin if i was an astro too.

I feel like such a traitor! i grew up a sox fan b/c of my dad, then switched to cubbies b/c on the northside, it's fashionable to be a cubs fan. (plus i am within a few blocks of the park) On the northside, a cubs t-shirt is the new black. it doesnt matter how bad they suck, next year the cubs will still sell out more games than the southsiders.

Now i wanna e a sox fan again and feel like a traitor!!

it's been boston and yankees back and forth so much for the playoffs that I never watched the world series. that yankees/boston match up was always a soap opera

but it's good to see other teams in the world series now, and chicago will be partying this weekend.

feels good given the Bulls and Bears uhhh... what are they doing these days

so funny,, since the sox won, choppers have been flying around the neighborhood non stop.. am wondering if its newscasters or if its the police monitoring for cubs fans vs. sox fans riot control???!!!!

LOL no, this is big. I even forgot the wh. sox were infamous *for* throwing a series, but never winning. I don't know if you know about that infamous trial. and 88 years???

I think whoever was dug up about a year ago under a stadium -- forgot story, but mob buried some folks under a Chicago stadium - lifted the curse against teams w/sox in name

first the red sox break the infamous 86 (?) year curse of the bambino, now the white sox. :d

however, the curse of the bambino was funny. every year the red sox fans' reactions were priceless. it was a PERSONAL thing which made many folks just wander the streets like zombies and want to hang red sox players.

or maybe the end of the world is near and all not a chance in hell prayers are being answered

well if the Saints win the superbowl, I know for sure the end is near.
